8. Hitman: Agent 47
Here’s one that isn’t just a theoretical concept, but is actually hitting theaters in just a few months. Hitman: Agent 47 is based on the popular Hitman video games and will be released this August. The game was already adapted into a movie back in 2007, but that was pretty poorly reviewed and wasn’t exactly a box office sensation.
Agent: 47 isn’t a sequel to that film, but just another adaptation of the game. It was originally going to star Paul Walker as the titular character, but after his death, Rupert Friend took over the role. The movie will also star Zachary Quinto. It’s being directed by Aleksander Bach, who has never directed a movie before, and being written by some of the writers behind movies like Machete Kills, A Good Day to Die Hard and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. So we’ll see how that works out.
