10. Warcraft
Based on the Warcraft series of video games, the most popular being World of Warcraft, this movie has potential to be a pretty awesome fantasy film in the same vein as The Hobbit. We don’t know that much about the plot except for the fact that it will start the story back when orcs first met humans, according to Inquisitr.
The Warcraft games developed by Blizzard are extremely dense and with an extraordinary amount of mythology, so this isn’t a situation where the filmmakers will have to make a story out of a game with barely any plot. There’s plenty to work with here. The movie is being directed by Duncan Jones, who has previously directed Moon and Source Code. It was originally scheduled to be released this December, but Universal would have to be insane to try to compete with Star Wars, so the film will now be coming out in June 2016.
