2. The Last of Us
The Last of Us is a very story-centric game, and so a movie adaptation of it makes a lot of sense. The game has been praised for its great characters and story line which are already on part with a movie. It centers around the characters of Joel and Ellie as they traverse the United States 20 years after a pandemic. The movie is still in its early stages, but Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) is in talks to star as Ellie. We don’t yet have a director, but the writer of the video game, Neil Druckmann, is on board to write the screenplay.
