2. Different ways of parenting
After the blowouts, Sheldon has a conversation with Beverly about how her parenting differed from Mary’s. Beverly used a reward style of parenting and finds out that Sheldon was raised in a different environment and he turned out really well. It opens her eyes to seeing there is more than one way to be a parent. She goes back to the apartment to share a moment with Leonard, which is awkward considering it’s a big step and they are both still uncomfortable.
Sparks will definitely be flying during this maternal combustion.
