1. The breakup
Sheldon is on the laptop Skyping with Amy. He begins to tell her he has been thinking before she interrupts. By her tone of voice, we hear she is still very upset and she surprises Sheldon by telling him she needs to take a step back from their relationship. He quietly says “Okay” before they end the call. Looking at a figurine of Gollum, Sheldon pulls out an engagement ring and asks the figurine what he should do with it.
