6. Espresso
After Sam, Callen, and Arkady meet with a former associate named Pavel and find information on buyers who are coming to bid on the oil, Callen feels that Arkady chose the hotel to meet up in for a reason. Arkady takes him to an espresso machine and tells him about how his father would drink that espresso and alludes that he escaped the Gulag. Callen is stunned to find out that it is possible his father could be alive. He later has Eric search for information on his father, but this worries Sam for many reasons, and he wants to make sure his friend doesn’t get hurt by having his hopes up.
