3. Building rapport
When Rossi and Hotch are unable to get anything from Alex, they decide they need to try to get Paige to talk. The team finds out she is actually a woman who was abducted years ago named Donna Mangold. JJ talks to Kate, who tells her to build a rapport and do everything possible to get her to talk. JJ goes in and reveals they know the other abductor in the case, Kyle, is her son and she shows her pictures of his dead body. His own father, Alex, who had raped and tortured Donna for years, murdered him. She relents and gives JJ the name of Meg’s abductor and the rest of the men in the trafficking ring.
