1. JJ’s announcement and Kate's resignation
The end of the episode showed JJ sitting down looking exhausted. As she takes a bite of a saltine, which she had bought for Kate earlier in the episode, Reid comes up and asks if he is going to have another little Godson. JJ smiles cheekily, confirming she is pregnant. Reid looks thrilled as he hugs her. I found this scene particularly wonderful because Reid is the only person who knows JJ suffered a miscarriage a few years earlier, so he knows what this means for his best friend.
After this exciting announcement, we see Kate going to see Hotch, where she tells him that she took time off after her sister and brother-in-law died to care for Meg and she wants to do the same for her baby. Hotch tells her that she is always welcome to come back. We wish Kate the best and hope to see her again soon!
