3. High School Theater Show – Ep 15, Cameron Diaz & Bruno Mars/Mark Ronson
I know this sketch won’t resonate with everyone and that’s OK. But for my money, Whispers of America (or High School Theatre Show as it’s officially listed) is a home run. Now I have spent more hours than I care to publicly admit sitting in dusty blackbox theaters furnished with those ubiquitous black boxes, so I can attest to how spot on this sketch was. Perhaps pretentious, avant-garde theater is a pretty easy target, but they hit a bull’s-eye nonetheless.
