1. WWE Promo Shoot – Ep 16, Dwayne Johnson & George Exra
While it’s not the most sophisticated or political sketch of the year, no single skit this year made me laugh harder than WWE Promo Shoot. Its premise is so simple – two pro wrestlers (host Johnson and Moynihan) trade insults gone awry when filming promos – but the writing is so sharp and the performances are really pitch perfect. From Johnson’s jabs at Moynihan’s herpes and his intricate Catfish prank, this sketch had been laughing from start to finish. Now that’s what Coco is cooking!
