There’s a new flavor of Oreos in town and it’s reminiscent of summertime and campfires. That’s right, it’s S’mores!
S’mores is just the latest limited edition Oreos flavor, with past flavors including pumpkin spice, cookie dough and marshmallow crisp.
A rep for the company confirmed the new flavor to Us Weekly following months of rumors. In February, a package surfaced and got every Oreo-lover excited.
An Instagram user called “cookie0man” posted a photo of the package prematurely, the same account that posted a photo of the red velvet flavor before its release.
The limited edition cookie will contain graham cracker cookies with chocolate-marshmallow crème in the middle.
Huffington Post reports S’mores Oreos will hit shelves near you starting on Friday, May 22, just in time for Memorial Day.
“Get a taste of the outdoors, indoors. New #OreoSmores flavored cookies, coming soon,” Oreos tweeted on Monday.
