Paul Walker tribute: 15 best 'Fast & Furious' Brian O'Connor scenes

1. Fast and Furious - When he meets Mia to apologize and she asks him two important questions:

This installment of the franchise was the first time Brian was re-united with the street racing family that changed his life, five years later. Mia isn't happy to see her former flame, since she thinks their relationship was a lie. When she reluctantly meets him for coffee so that he can apologize and warn her to stay out of Dom's revenge mission, Mia lets him have it. In response, he apologizes for lying and says that's what he does best.

Mia then says what is arguably the most important line in the entire franchise, the question of good or bad that can be asked of every character, especially Brian: "Maybe you're lying to yourself. Maybe you're not the good guy pretending to be the bad guy. Maybe you're the bad guy pretending to be the good guy. Do you ever think about that?"

Brian responds: "Every day."

On her way out, Mia also asks why he let Dom go and he doesn't have an answer. However, later on in the movie, he tells her: "I think because in that moment I respected him more than I did myself. One thing I've learned from Dom is that nothing really matters unless you have a code."

So she asks him what his code is and he says he's still working on it.

He may not have known it then but he finds it eventually: dedication to her, to Dom, their friends and family. That's his code. Putting his loved ones above himself, and doing the right thing even if it means breaking rules.

"A friendship turn to a bond and that bond will never be broken and the love will never get lost."

The first minute

----

Brian O'Connor will certainly be missed when the Fast and Furious world continues, just as the man who brought Brian to life, Paul Walker, has been and will always be missed from the real world.

"We've come a long way from where we began...."

No truer words could be said.
