Paul Walker tribute: 15 best 'Fast & Furious' Brian O'Connor scenes

2. Fast 7- The end/tribute scene on the beach:

After the last mission is completed, the gang recuperate on a beach. Brian is happily playing with Mia and their son. He's shown as the man he always truly was — a family man who loves deeply and whole-heartedly. Dom says it's where he belongs, where he's always belonged. And though it's a bittersweet goodbye, it really does bring Brian's story full circle. He started out living two lives, unsure of who he was, but has found himself, becoming a devoted father, brother, friend and husband.

Everyone knows that this scene wasn't originally planned. Everyone knows it's a send off to put the character of Brian O'Connor to rest following Paul Walker's untimely death. But it fits with the film and it feels organic.

The added weight of it being a true goodbye to an icon of the franchise and an underrated Hollywood star makes it devastating but it's somehow still pleasant and sweet, as perfect a closure scene as could be, especially thanks to how he and Dom say goodbye — the same way their relationship started: a street race. The song that plays during the scene and the subsequent montage top it off beautifully.

"Everything I went through you were standing there by my side, and now you gon' be with me for the last ride."
