Beyonce and Jay Z can afford to buy real estate all over the world, so it’s always interesting to hear the locations they choose. The parents of 3-year-old Blue Ivy Carter reportedly most recently purchased a home in New Orleans, La.
The couple bought it for around $2.6 million and it’s being described as a converted church-mansion located in New Orleans’ Garden District.
It’s named La Casa de Castille and it spans 13,292 square feet, Zillow reports.
The home is Spanish Baroque style and it was originally a church built in the 1920s. It has three separate apartments included.
The Westminster Presbyterian Church was built in the year 1925 and became a ballet studio before being converted into a home, E! Online reports.
New Orleans seems like it has a special place in the Knowles family’s hearts. Beyonce’s sister Solange got married to Alan Ferguson there in Nov. 2014. They have a home there, too, and Solange owns a boutique in the city called Exodus Goods.
