Authorities have said that four people including the gunman, are dead after what is believed to be a random shooting on a Wisconsin bridge.

According to the Appleton Post-Crescent, police in Menasha said that Sergio Daniel Valencia del Toro, 27 is the suspected gunman who fatally shot Jonathan Stoffel, 33, and his daughter, 11-year-old Olivia Stoffel. Their wife and mother, Erin Stoffel, was wounded in the shooting and remains hospitalized. And, another victim, Adam Bentdahl, was also shot and killed while on the bridge.

The Associated Press noted Menasha Police Chief Tim Styka said that the suspected gunman was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

“At this point we do not believe there is any other threat to the community," he said.

The shooting took place Sunday evening around 7:30 on the Fox Cities Trestle Trail bridge, which is popular with many joggers and bicyclists. It appeared to be unprovoked.

"We think this was a random act. It does not appear that anyone was targeted," said Styka.

The alleged "random act" has shook the community to its core as it is one of the deadliest shootings to ever take place in Fox Cities.
