Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder shared the first teaser for the first trailer for his new DC Comics epic. In four days, the world will get to see the first footage from the film, which has already wrapped principle photography.
In the 20-second video posted on Snyder’s Twitter page, we see re-used footage of Superman’s costume from Man of Steel. However, it then shows a glimpse of Ben Affleck’s Batman costume. And yes, even though it runs 20 seconds, there’s plenty of Inception horn in it.
The tweet also includes a link to a website set up just for the trailer, listing the IMAX locations that will screen it on Monday. If you don’t live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee or Virginia, you are out of luck at the moment. The rest of us will just have to wait until Warner Bros. posts it online (or it leaks, whichever happens first).
This isn’t completely a surprise, since the news was leaked earlier Wednesday.
Batman v Superman stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa. It hits theaters on March 25, 2016. And if Warner Bros. follows the marketing tactics of Marvel, we will probably know much, much more about the movie by then.
