In Collateral Cruise was able to show off his villain side when he played opposite Jamie Foxx in this thriller that was set in L.A. Cruise is known for playing the hero on the big screen, but this gave him the opportunity to play a villain. Michael Mann was the director behind this movie and he was able to capture a new side to Cruise, it was dark and a surprise for fans who had become used to Cruise always saving the world.
