This was yet another chart topper and radio success for Bryan, and offered evidence of the soft side of a guy who has become a singer, who can be expected to churn out both, fun and serious songs with an equal amount of sincerity and appeal. One of his most serious songs, it's about how he copes with the loss of a loved one. Hint: it's by doing what country boys do best, going to a special spot and drinking a beer. But though it includes references to what some say are tired themes of the genre — God and beer, it's clearly not directly about either. It's just an honest, sweet song about pain. And Bryan's smooth crooning pulls you in with ease.
