Let’s be real, no one really knows what Missy Elliott is saying in her 2002 song “Work It.” However, that doesn’t stop them from singing along. Press Room Vip reports that when people sang along to the song it came out sounding like, “It’s your fremme nipples when yet como.” Some even thought that line of the song was in Spanish.
So what are the actual lyrics? The actual lyrics are “Ti esrever dna ti pilf, nwod gniht ym tup I,” which reads, “I put my thing down, flip it and reverse it” backwards. Missy Elliott literally flipped and reversed her lyrics.
