Despicable Me featured some lovable characters but the stars of the film quickly became the minions that worked for the evil mastermind Gru. Now the minions are getting their own feature film and this looks like a fun family-friendly movie to keep in mind this summer. The minions bring such humor and heart to the films, giving them their own film and telling their origin story might have similar qualities that made Despicable Me so popular.
