Top 10 favorite Joni Mitchell songs

7. “Help Me”

“Help Me,” also from Mitchell’s 1974 album Court & Spark, has been her only top 10 singles hit, hitting the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 7 in 1974. It made it to No. 1 on the Easy Listening chart. It is ranked #288 on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”

Mitchell wrote the song about Glenn Frey, singer, songwriter, musician and founding member of the Eagles, whom she was dating at the time.
