“Bell Bottom Blues” is one of several songs Clapton wrote for George Harrison’s then-wife, Pattie Boyd, and released on his debut album with band Derek and the Dominos in 1970. His, at the time, unrequited love for Boyd produced mostly songs that have been praised for Clapton’s guitar playing and the utter anguish emanating from his voice. This song peaked at #78 on Billboard’s Hot 100.
