4. Daryl Hall – musician
Singer, songwriter, producer and part of the band Hall & Oates – Daryl Hall has many unique talents. Lyme disease makes all of those professions difficult. Seacoast Online reports that Hall had to stop touring in 2005 because of this illness. Now, he refuses to stop being an advocate even when doctors question his diagnosis: “I find that when I talk about this, I'm going to get some doctor who says that I'm full of crap, that it's not really as prevalent as we say. But they're wrong and I'm right. I'm one of the people on the front lines, one of the people who suffer. It's very controversial.”
