Louis C.K. confessed to blocking Jimmy Fallon from getting a job back in the ‘90s while he stopped by the late night host’s Tonight Show on Tuesday.
The comedian and actor was a head writer on The Dana Carvey Show at the time, where Fallon auditioned before his big break.
C.K. admitted to letting jealousy take over, describing himself as “already kind of sweaty and balding,” and "depressed.”
Rolling Stone reports he continued in the most blunt way possible, “It was pure jealousy. In my head I knew, 'This is really f--ked up to be doing this because this kid is really talented, but I don't want to look at him every day because it will make me upset about myself.'"
"So I torpedoed your chances. I really, really went to bat against you," he said.
He even admitted he went as far as to threaten to quit the show if Fallon was hired.
Clearly, Fallon did pretty well for himself regardless and the show only lasted seven episodes before getting canceled.
