Kourtney Kardashian is explaining the reasoning behind naming her third child with boyfriend Scott Disick Reign. She said they also had this name as an option for their first two kids; Mason and Penelope.
Kardashian gave birth to Reign in Dec. 2014. Many were confused by the unconventional name, but the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star said if she had a girl, she would have the same name.
She told People, “I actually had the name on our list with Mason. Then with Penelope, I had it on the list but spelled R-A-I-N.”
Kardashian thought she would be having another girl, but “once I found out I was having a boy, we just changed the spelling again” to make it more masculine.
She also admitted she’s "never certain [with names] until they’re born,” so Reign’s name wasn’t locked down until she met him.
