The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were handed out last night at the Warner Bros. Studio Lot in Burbank, California. It featured countless stars from today’s daytime programs, plus Betty White was on hand to receive the Lifetime Achievement award.
“I can't tell you what this means,” White, 93, told the crowd. “I had no idea that I would still be alive at this point for one thing, but I'd still be privileged enough to still be in this business.”
Regis Philbin, Tom Bergeron, Fred Willard, Charo and Marie Osmond were also there to honor White, notes E! News.
The late Joan Rivers also got a special tribute during the ceremony, which aired live on POP.
As for the winners list, it featured an interesting tie between two of the remaining Soap Operas on TV - NBC’s Days Of Our Lives and CBS’ The Young and the Restless. CBS Sunday Morning also came out on top among the morning shows.
