Daniel Craig has become the latest actor to suffer an injury while filming. He suffered a knee injury while filming the latest James Bond film, SPECTRE. It is not expected to delay production.

Eon Productions told BBC News that Craig flew back to New York for a “minor procedure” for the knee injury. Production was on a break anyway for the Easter holiday. A spokeswoman for the company said that he did not miss any days of filming.
“During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood,” the spokeswoman said.
SPECTRE started filming at Pinewood Studios in the U.K., but is now on location. Filming has taken place in Rome, Mexico and Austria.
News of Craig’s injury comes just after the first teaser for the film was released last month. The 24th film in the Bond franchise also stars Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes. It is Craig’s fourth time starring as Bond and is director Sam Mendes’ second Bond film.
SPECTRE hits theaters in the U.S. on Nov. 6.
Craig isn’t the only star to suffer an injury on the set. Johnny Depp got hurt while filming Pirates of the Caribbean 5, which has delayed production in Australia.
