An Australian woman saw the Google Street View car and decided to make the photo of her front yard very memorable.
Karen Davis took it upon herself to flash her breasts to the camera about two months ago. The photo has now hit Google’s Street View service and she’s been turned to into an overnight local celebrity when Google failed to censor it.
Davis told Australia’s Port Pirie Recorder, “I look at Google Maps a lot and I wanted to be on there and I thought this is the way to do it.”
She added other reasons she did it, explaining she crossed it off her “bucket list” and, “I also did it for a friend in the United Kingdom. Now he can see me all the time.”
After residents in her town found out about her flashing the Google car, she took to Facebook to reveal what she really thinks about the negative backlash.
“Haters hate, you got the guts to do it? All the flat-ti--ie chicks think I am disgusting. Big-boob envy has hit Port Pirie,” she wrote.
But local service area Superintendent Scott Denny told ABC.net Davis’ actions are the same as any public indecency.
He called her flashing the camera “the same as someone flashing their genitals,” explaining the police department recently arrested a man for “exposing himself in public, this incident is no different.”
Davis will be summoned to appear at the Port Pirie Magistrates Court.
