10. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Much like Ferrell, Kevin Smith is very hit-and-miss with his films. While his love letter to his fans' Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back has its own fans, one can't help but wonder what this tribute to his work would have been with less bathroom humor and more heart.
Ferrell, in his supporting role, was just on the edge of his upbringing and it's clear he has promise from his scenes, but he rarely, if ever, gets to live up to his full potential. Thankfully a few years later he would get to star in Elf and Anchorman.
