#8: The Undiscovered Country
The sixth installment to the Star Trek film franchise, The Undiscovered Country, provides an account of assassinations, the framing of Kirk and McCoy, and the sabotage of peace proceeding between the Federation and the Kligons. In order to discover the identities of the culprits behind these treacherous acts, Spock mind melds with his apprentice, whom they discovered is actually a spy. The mind meld is apparently painful for the apprentice who screams under Spock’s probing, after which he is able to confirm that they know all she knows.
