6. Kenneth Branagh – from Belfast, Ireland
Actor, director, writer, producer – Kenneth Branagh has done it all. Many of his popular films are Shakespeare such as Othello, Much Ado Anything and Hamlet. However, Branagh is far from a typecast actor. Film roles include everything from the cheeky Miguel in The Road to El Dorado, the vain Professor Lockhart in the Harry Potter films and the high-demanding Sir Laurence Olivier in My Weekend with Marilyn. Some of the most popular movies that he directed are the recent Cinderella, Thor and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
