9. Lori
Lori Grimes, the wife of Rick, experienced one of the most intense and emotional deaths. After delivering her daughter, Judith, Grimes is faced with the fact that she won’t live through the birth and will become a walker. Upon this realization, her son, Carl, is forced to shoot his own mother in the head. The weight of this moment and sense cannot be understated. It showed the emotional change in Carl and how living in this world would take away his childhood, innocence and even his own mother.
