Game of Thrones star Lena Headey is baring all about her divorce from Peter Loughran, admitting she’s still grieving over the end of their marriage.
Though she’s currently pregnant with her second child – she won’t reveal who the father is – she opened up to More magazine about her split from Loughran.
“It’s tough. There’s a lot of hurt and sadness and disappointment. Grief. Massive grief. It’s a mourning process, and yet nobody’s died,” she explained.
Headey shares a 5-year-old son, Wylie, with Loughran. They were married for six years before officially divorcing in 2013.
The actress, who plays Cersei Lannister on GoT, also opened up about her battle with depression.
"I haven’t had a spell in a long time. I think some people’s brains are just wired that way if you’re a thinker,” she said, adding those who “never get anxious always amaze me. The world could be breaking up and they’re saying, 'Everything’s fine!'”
She does admit, “Getting older and having kids, you learn how to become less serious about it all."
Headey's second child is due this summer.
