Remember when Cindy Crawford was praised for the unretouched photos that leaked from her Marie Claire photoshoot last month? It turns out they might’ve been doctored to make her look worse.
The photographer of the shoot, John Russo, has sent out a threatening letter through his attorney to anyone who published the photo, which he says was photoshopped to make Crawford’s stomach look worse than it actually looked.
The shoot in question was for 2013’s Marie Claire Mexico and Latin America.
TMZ reports Russo’s lawyer threatened to sue any publication that didn’t take it down and apologize for posting it. He said the photo was stolen and altered.
At the time the photos were “leaked,” Marie Claire released a statement saying, “No matter where the photo came from, it’s an enlightenment. We’ve always known Crawford was beautiful, but seeing her like this only makes us love her more.”
