No jokes were off limits at the taping of Comedy Central’s roast of Justin Bieber, but they are off limits when it comes to the network airing it.

Offensive jokes about the late Fast & Furious 7 star Paul Walker have been cut from the broadcast, a rep has confirmed.

“Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full rein to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show,” a spokesperson said, The Hollywood Reporter reports. “Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast.”

Comedian Jeff Ross made a joke about Walker, which noticeably upset the late actor’s Fast & Furious co-star Ludacris. He died in 2013 in a car crash at the age of 40.

"'Move bitch, get out of the way!' is what Paul Walker should've told that tree. Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?" Ross said. Ludacris reportedly motioned to producers to cut.

Ross told THR about the comments afterwards, "I was so in the moment, I don’t know what jokes hit.”

E! Online reports after the roast ended, Bieber said backstage, "I didn't particularly like the Paul Walker jokes.”

The roast was filmed on Sat. March 14 and will air on March 30. Find out what other jokes were said here.
