Mad Men star Jessica Pare will have a new family member to enjoy the April 5 return of her show. The actress gave birth to a son on Thursday.
The happy news was reported by People. He is her first child with boyfriend John Kastner. They named him Blues Anthony Pare Kastner.
Kastner, a musician, made the news official on Instagram, sharing a picture of Blues in the arms of Summer Lee, his eight-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
Pare, 34, currently stars on Mad Men as Don Draper’s second wife. She managed to keep the pregnancy a secret for as long as she could, not confirming it until October. Kastner had already shared the news on Instagram by then, though.
Mad Men begins its final seven episodes on April 5 on AMC at 10 p.m. The series also stars Jon Hamm, Vincent Kartheiser, January Jones and Christina Hendricks. Jones was among the guests at her baby shower last month, notes Us Weekly.
