Helen Mirren appeared on The Tonight Show on Monday night, where she was promoting her film Woman in Black. She had much more fun chatting with Jimmy Kimmel after sucking up some helium, though.
The usually perfectly poised British actress is just the latest guest of Fallon’s to have a blast on his show, which in turn translates to its viewers.
People notes after complimenting her “proper” English accent, Fallon asked his guest what her voice would sound like “on helium.”
Mirren then gave a fake acceptance speech after inhaling helium from a balloon, as well as shot out some profanity.
They had to take a break after getting “lightheated,” but the fun didn’t stop until they started talking about the popular English dish, spotted dick.
The Woman in Black, also starring Ryan Reynolds, hits theaters April 1.
