An astonishing photo has gone viral and, thankfully, it has nothing to do with dresses or colors. The image shows a woodpecker taking off just after a weasel attacked it and is still hanging on.

Amateur photographer Martin Le-May took the image at Hornchurch Country Park in east London Monday. He told BBC News that he was walking in the park with his wife, Ann, when he heard a “squawking noise.”
“I soon realised it was a woodpecker with some kind of small mammal on its back,” he told the BBC. "I think we may have distracted the weasel as when the woodpecker landed it managed to escape and the weasel ran into the grass.”
Le-May told ITV News that he hopes the pictures will inspire others to get outside to start taking pictures of their local wildlife.
Since Le-May shared the photo, it has gone viral on Twitter, making us all forget about #TheDress. He never expected that to happen.
“I'm so proud so many people are getting to see my image. I'm totally taken aback by the response to it,” he told the BBC.

Of course, since it has gone viral, Twitter has picked it up to make memes.
