9. Flu Season
Leslie Knope is typically completely confident and in control, so seeing her break that when she’s really delirious or really drunk is always hilarious. In this episode Leslie is incredibly sick, but of course she refuses to admit it and tries to keep doing her work, including giving a speech at the Chamber of Commerce (which she briefly confuses with the Chamber of Secrets). Chris also gets the flu and completely freaks out because as we know, his body is a temple. In a moment that will never cease to make me laugh, he intensely looks into the mirror and angrily tells himself to “stop pooping.” It’s a great, hilarious episode, but one that also services the characters and shows us just how passionate Leslie is for helping the people of Pawnee.
