2. George Clooney, Good Night, And Good Luck
Even if I didn’t go into journalism, George Clooney’s Good Night, And Good Luck. would still be one of my favorite films. The story of how Edward R. Murrow decided to call out McCarthyism would not have worked so well without the dead-on performance by David Strathairn. He could have just played on the fact that he looks similar to Murrow, but he did more than that. Overall, the movie got six nominations... and didn’t win any.
