Nothing is like feeling your heart ripped out when you have seen the love story between Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) in the film Titanic. James Cameron brings us the story of the famous sinking ship with a romantic twist. Everyone who seen this film fell in love with Jack and Rose.
Jack, an artist, who is from the poor section of the boat who likes to defy rules woos Rose who is from the rich section aboard the ill-fated Titanic. She is also set to marry, but doesn’t really want to. She is mainly doing it for her mom who's giving her to this rich claimant played by Billy Zane. Both Dicaprio and Winslet give phenomenal performances.
The film won 11 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director in 1998. Winslet was nominated for Best Actress while Dicaprio was snubbed for Best Actor. This film is one of the highest-grossing films of all time next to Avatar, both directed by Cameron.
