Joan Rivers’ New York City penthouse has hit the market again with a $28 million listing price. This isn’t the first time it’s been put on the market, however, as it’s been put on and off since 2009.
The home, where the late Rivers lived for over 25 years, has a Central Park view and its’ located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Leighton Candler of the Corcoran Group told Today.com, "You have these incredible details which you never find anywhere. It's probably Manhattan at its best."
The luxurious home is over 5,000 sq. ft. and located in one of the most private and desired buildings in the city.
Following Rivers’ death in September 2014, her daughter Melissa Rivers inherited her $150 million estate. Melissa decided to put the home on the market shortly after her mother died.
In 2010, Rivers described the home in her documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work by saying it’s where "Marie Antoinette would have lived if she had money.”
