Justin Bieber is determined to prove he’s changed for the better since his crazy antics and run-ins with the police over the past year and half or so.
After surprising Ellen DeGeneres during a taping of her birthday show last week, he admitted in an intimate Facebook post that he was “really nervous” about how people were going to perceive him.
He had a chance to redeem himself, as he will appear on an episode airing Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter notes.
“It was the first time I was on television for a long time, and I just was worried about what people were thinking about me," he told the syndicated daytime talk show host.
He explained the grainy video after appearing on the birthday show, saying, "I thought I just looked really extra nervous and I kind of just wanted to explain myself."
Bieber went on to say he’s grateful for the support because he is “human” after all and negative comments do affect him.
“I love people, I love love, I’m passionate about things and I’m passionate about being better and growing so I think that this is going to be an awesome chapter in my life and I’m so glad that I have you guys supporting me,” he said.
