There is little to nothing that doctors can do for the late Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown at this point, a source has said.
A source close to the situation has told Fox411 that it is pretty much up to the family when Brown will go.
“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it,”the source said. “They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive.”
As previously reported, Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Saturday and later placed in a medically induced coma at a hospital close to her Roswell, Georgia home.
Despite what the source has said or how bleak the hope for his daughter may be, Brown’s father singer Bobby Brown is said to be hopeful that his daughter will pull through.
“We continue to request privacy in this matter," he said in a statement. "Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time."
Brown was found in a circumstance eerily similar to her mother’s. Houston was also found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Beverly Hilton hotel room almost three years ago. Her death was ruled an accidental drowning. Later, it was revealed that drugs and heart disease played a role.
Houston left her entire estate to her daughter.
