As promised, Taylor Swift dropped a new music video today for her latest 1989 single. It’s not as adventurous as the “Blank Space” video or something to dance along with like “Shake It Off,” but it’s certainly a reflection of “Style.”
The power ballad is all about a relationship with a guy who has an obsession with Swift’s red lips. It’s a tortured romance, so there’s images of broken mirrors and barefoot walks in the forest.
The video debuted on Good Morning America this morning. She did drop a tease for the video on Instagram earlier this week.
“Style” is the fourth single from 1989. Aside from “Blank Space” and “Shake It Off,” “Out of the Woods” was also released as a single. It’s not like she needs to promote the album though. It’s already logged 11 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 album chart.
