Bobbi Kristina Brown’s situation is reportedly dire, as doctors have said that there isn’t much they can do. Meanwhile, a friend that was with the 21-year-old when she was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Saturday is speaking out.
Max Lomas was with Brown’s husband, Nick Gordon, when she was found at her Roswell, Georgia home. It was reported that Lomas is under investigation as a drug dealer. Tabloids have also reported that he has a long list of criminal activity.
TMZ reported that on Jan. 14, he was arrested after his girlfriend’s family called the police, claiming that he was holding her against her will. Police said that they found the girlfriend alright when they responded to the call, but they discovered drugs on the scene.
His lawyer, Phillip A. Holloway sent a statement to USA Today, stressing that Lomas’ criminal past doesn’t have anything to do with Brown’s situation. Holloway said that Lomas has pleaded not guilty to drug charges.
“Lomas has cooperated with the authorities investigating what happened involving his dear friend, Bobbi Kristina Brown,” Holloway said, adding that his client is “deeply concerned for Ms. Brown and remains hopeful for her full, complete and swift recovery.”
Meanwhile, Brown’s father, Bobby Brown, is expecting another baby. According to TMZ, Brown’s current wife, Alicia Etheredge, is now four months pregnant. The timing is terrible, as he’s feuding with the family of Brown’s mother, the late Whitney Houston, over her care.
As previously reported, a source told Fox News that doctors do not think that they could help Brown any longer. She has been in a medically induced coma and is now at a hospital in Atlanta.
“It’s now a matter of when the family wants to let go and accept that she’s pretty much not going to make it,” the source told Fox News. “They’ve left it up to the family as to how long they want to keep her alive.”
