6. Kopfstand – playing Markus Dorn
Waltz’s first performance on screen, this is another Austrian movie released in 1981. In it, the actor plays a teenager who, after fighting with his mother, is accused of being on drugs and sent to a mental asylum. The role is played by the young Waltz with great sensitivity and strength of character. For those interested in seeing him in a role different than most of his others, this is a great film to watch.
