4. Gunga Din, 1939
Another George Stevens movie, Gunga Din is a total blast because Grant is having a total blast making it. At first, you probably think he’s going to go for the romantic lead part, but he refused and instead took the more comedic role. Sadly, he would never really make another movie like this. (Although, his rugged role in Father Goose was also really against type, too.)
