5. The Philadelphia Story, 1940
The Philadelphia Story has one weird story behind it. Katherine Hepburn had the play turned into a movie so she could revive her film career and Grant gives the best performance in it, but James Stewart won the Best Actor Oscar for it. Oh well... that’s the weird way Hollywood works.
