Leo McCarey’s An Affair To Remember, a remake of his own Love Story, is the stereotypical Grant-as-romantic-icon role. Sure, it’s not the perfect movie, but Grant isn’t phoning it in here like he could have. The chemistry with Deborah Kerr is fantastic.
